Dr. Irfan Aslam is a distinguished clinical embryologist with over three decades of comprehensive experience in assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Currently, he serves as the Group IVF Laboratory Director at Trust Fertility Centre, Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he leads a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality ART services, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), testicular sperm extraction, embryo biopsy, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and advanced cryopreservation techniques. Dr. Aslam holds professional licenses from leading regulatory authorities, including the Human Fertilizations and Embryology Authority (HFEA, UK), Abu Dhabi Health Authority (HAAD), Dubai Department of Health (DOH), and Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH KSA). With over 20 years in senior embryology roles, Dr. Aslam has played a pivotal role in establishing and optimizing IVF laboratories in multiple regions, achieving clinical and laboratory excellence. Notably, he led the first successful College of American Pathology (CAP) accreditation for an IVF laboratory in the UAE and contributed to several successful Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditations and re-accreditations. Horace Roman is surgeon of endometriosis at Institut Franco-Européen Muntidisciplinaire d’Endométriose (IFEMEndo, Franco-European Multidisciplinary Institute for Endometriosis) in Bordeaux, France and Honorary Professor at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. He is a former Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rouen Medical University in France. He is one of the rare surgeons worldwide whose surgical activity has been exclusively reserved for endometriosis for more than ten years. His practice and clinical research focus on the surgical management of patients with deep endometriosis. He has published more than 190 scientific articles related to various surgical approaches and the probability of postoperative natural conception following surgery for deep and ovarian endometriosis. Since 2005, he has managed more than 1,400 patients with deep endometriosis infiltrating the digestive tract, more than 250 with endometriosis of the urinary tract, more than 120 with involvement of sacral plexus or sciatic nerves, and 70 with endometriosis of the diaphragm.
